Rates

1. The tariffs above are in Euros (EUR) and exempt from VAT (local tax on goods and services), in accordance with article 293B of the CGI (National Tax Code) and refer only to guided tours and/or accompaniment and does not include possible meals for the guide, eventual entrances to the places visited, accommodation or transport services.  

2. If the visit starts/ends outside of Strasbourg, the cost of transporting the guide must be added, according to its distance: up to 15 km, free of charge; from 15 km to 30 km, €10; from 30 km to 50 km, €15; from 50 km to 75 km, €20; from 75 km to 100 km = €30).

 

Payment methods

3. Travel Agencies/Operators : cash, card or payment link, before or right after delivery; or via invoice, with a payment term of up to 30 days.

4. Individuals: during booking, the guide will send the customer a payment link with one of the two options below (preferred by the customer):

● Payment in full of the installment.
● Deposit of 30% of the total value of contracted services; the remainder of the payment can be made by bank transfer up to 24 hours before the visit or on the day of payment by cash or card.

 

Changes

5. By the guide: the guide reserves the right to cancel or modify certain visits without prior notice if the comfort or safety of customers so requires or in case of force majeure such as strikes, demonstrations, exceptional closures, storms. If it is not possible to perform the service in part or in full, the customer will have the option of choosing another date for its performance, or requesting a refund of the total amount of the contracted service. 

6. By the client: any request to change a tour already contracted must be informed to the guide, preferably 48 hours in advance. The guide reserves the right to accept or not the changes, according to their availability. Otherwise, the customer will be able to choose another date for the visit. If there is no agreement between the parties, the value of 30% of the service price will be demanded from the customer.

 

Delays, no-shows, interruptions

7. Delay/no-show by the customer: the guide will wait for the customer for a maximum of 30 minutes. The visit can be shortened by the delay or extended to compensate for the delay (if the guide agrees). After 30 minutes of delay, and without any information from the client, the visit will be canceled and considered a no-show. In all cases mentioned above, the total amount of the installment will be charged. 

8. Delay/no-show by the guide : If the guide presents itself with a delay of up to 30 minutes, the client will have the option of extending the visit to compensate for the delay (according to the guide’s availability and agreement between both parties); if the client does not agree, the duration of the visit may be reduced, and the amount readjusted (compensation equivalent to the duration of the delay may be demanded by the client). In the unlikely event that the guide does not appear, the client will receive the full amount already paid, and may demand compensation in the amount of 30% of the contracted services that were not performed. 

9. Reduction in the duration of the service by the customer on the day of delivery: the total value of the contracted service must be paid.

 

Cancellation by customer

10. Up to 48 hours before the start of the installment : a payment of 30% of the installment will be charged.

11. Less than 48 hours before the start of the installment : the total amount of the installment will be charged.

 

Dispute

Any dispute relating to the interpretation and execution of the general conditions of sale will be subject to French law. If there is no amicable settlement between the two parties, the dispute will be brought before the Commercial Court in Strasbourg.
