A timeless experience

Alsace is a tiny region packed with beautiful landscapes and loads of history and traditions.

For this very first photo session, I have choosen as a background for your souvenirs one of the most symbolic regional constructions:

IT’S CHATEAUX FORTS

Driving along Alsace you can’t help but notice the hills and mountains pierced by dozens of ruins of fortified castles.

Their aim was to secure its landlords, to mark the territory…and to control the transit of goods and people.

Each one of them has its own history, its own architecture, its own personality.

Exploring their ruins is like travelling back in time.

Get Inspiration

How does the session work

Depending on where you will be based (Strasbourg or Colmar), how much or little walking you are willikng to do, and how much comfort you are used to :-), I have a few options of very photogenic ruins to be explored and used as the background of your photos.

The drive to the location will vary, but all in all this is a half-day experience.

Once at the ruins, I will give you some historical information about them and we will get started with the photo session (which should last for about one hour).

After the session, you will chill out around the castle, sipping “cremant d’Alsace” (the “local Champagne”) while breathing in history and nature.
