IT’S CHATEAUX FORTS
Driving along Alsace you can’t help but notice the hills and mountains pierced by dozens of ruins of fortified castles.
Their aim was to secure its landlords, to mark the territory…and to control the transit of good and people.
Each one of them has its own history, its own architecture, its own personality.
Exploring their ruins is like travelling back in time.
